Do I need to be in Kansas City to work with Ethos?
No. Ethos is based in the Kansas City area and supports clients across the country, remotely and in person where it makes sense. We build HR programs with your state’s requirements in mind.
We’re small. Is it too early for HR?
Usually not. The best time to put basics in place is before you need them. Many clients start with a focused project, like a handbook or a compliance check, and add ongoing support as they grow.
How is pricing structured?
It depends on your size, your state(s) and how much support you need. Ongoing work is typically a monthly retainer, and projects are quoted up front. After a short conversation, you’ll get a clear proposal with no surprises.
Do you replace our office manager or payroll provider?
No. We work alongside them. We often take HR off the office manager’s plate and help get payroll and HRIS set up correctly, but we don’t replace your team or your systems.
